The procedure takes a little over an hour to complete. Unlike other artificial implants, the fat used is your own, with nothing added. In most cases, around two-thirds of the injected fat will survive, so a further top-up may be required once some of the fat has been naturally absorbed. It can take three to six months before your final results have fully taken shape.

What Is The Recovery Time for Fat Transfer Breast Enlargement?

The recovery time tends to vary from patient to patient and will depend on how many areas of liposuction were required in order to collect a sufficient amount of donor fat. As with all surgery, you’ll experience some swelling and bruising for a week or two. We’ll ensure that you have the necessary painkillers, and you’ll have access to on-call nursing on a 24/7 basis.

We’ll also provide you with the correct post-surgery garments to help you manage your discomfort as much as possible. It is recommended that you take up to two weeks off from work and have someone at home to help you postoperatively.
