Prior to his current post, Mr Teenan was a consultant in both Stobhill Hospital and Glasgow Royal Infirmary. In addition to clinical work he is chairman of the skills committee in the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow.
He has also been a member of various national groups involving diverse issues such as designing training programs for junior surgeons and setting of clinical guidelines.
Mr Teenan perform the full range of peripheral arterial and venous procedures. He received training in the endovenous management of varicose veins in Newcastle, Aberdeen and Charing Cross Hospital in London. Paul has a special interest in the treatment of varicose veins and he is able to offer the VNUS closure procedure, Clarivein treatment and foam sclerotherapy.
